Throw and Grow with Kirstin Farr is designed to help you build on your existing wheel-throwing skills, refine your technique, and break through any persistent challenges or habits that are holding you back. It’s a supportive space to expand your technical repertoire and grow your confidence at the wheel. We’ll explore a range of midfire clays, experiment with diverse forms, and dive into surface decoration with slips and textures—all while working directly on the wheel. You’ll also be introduced to essential studio practices including basic glaze chemistry, clay recycling, and tips for setting up and maintaining a home studio. Whether you’re looking to up-skill or just want more wheel time, this class offers a balance of technical learning and creative exploration—with plenty of fun along the way. Beginners are welcome too !
